After being MIA for a couple of weeks thanks to a nasty chest infection (as well as it being the summer holidays – not a good mix!), it’s been nice to get back in the swing of everything. The change in weather, however, has seemed to send me into autumn mode and I have been drinking my weight in tea!
It’s been pretty busy catching up with everything, especially as royalty season hit just as I was out of the office in a virus-infested heap, so I came back to a buzz of number crunching and sales reports, and the countdown is now on for our *cough* Christmas range being prepped for the printers.
Which is the reason for our latest milestone – I had to purchase more ISBNs this week, our third set so far! We buy them in sets of 10 from Nielsen (I wait for the day we can purchase a 100 in one go but that’s a huge wad of cash I just can’t part with yet!), which means once this lot are used, we will have published 30 books! Now technically we haven’t published 30 titles as we have to use a new ISBN for each edition (paperback, dyslexic-friendly, ebook), but it’s still crazy to think how fast we’ve worked through these since buying our very first batch in 2020.
To date we have published 14 individual titles, with 11 more still in the works to be released between the end of 2024 and the end of 2025.
