With the countdown to the end of 2024 well underway, we’ve had two new bits of book news from Scorpius Towers this week, with our eyes now focused on next years’ list.
Beginning of the End is the fourth title from Scorpius Books by GJ Stevens, author of the best-selling In The End series. When Jordan dreams of something exciting happening in his boring Cornish village, he gets more than he bargained for when a mysterious affliction descends, sending the locals into a murderous undead rage.
Beginning of the End is a fast-paced, dyslexic-friendly novella prequel to the IN THE END series, and is available from Waterstones now.
Our second piece of news is the upcoming release of Ferrishyn by Ivy Lewis, due for publication on 30th November 2024.
In unity, there is nothing to dread… An ongoing war between humans and Ferrishyn threatens to destroy the magical world of Eamhain. Lucile Taylor, a displaced human, and Jacob Reid, a young Jamaican-Irish USUK soldier have both grown up in the trauma and chaos of war.
But with Earth dying and the president’s corruption destroying innocent lives, can they find a way to work together to save the people they love?
An absorbing Fae-fi romantic fantasy, FERRISHYN transports you to an amazing world of folklore and myth, where you’ll find yourself liking characters you should hate and empathising with those you despise.
You can pre-order Ferrishyn from Waterstones now.
